This page identifies who publishes DosageGuide.com, who answers for what is written here, and where the site is hosted. It exists because a reader who feeds a dog on one of our figures is entitled to know who stands behind it.
Publisher
DosageGuide.com (https://dosageguide.com) is published by Radif Partners, a company acting as publisher and as the party responsible for publication. Radif Partners answers for the editorial content of the site, with the exception of the content of external sites reached through links, which remains the responsibility of their own publishers.
Enquiries, corrections and legal notices can be sent to contact@dosageguide.com or through our contact form, and are answered within a few working days. A reported error in a feeding figure is checked against the sources before anything is changed, and the page then carries a new verification date.
Nature of the information
The figures on this site are estimates computed from the energy equations used in veterinary nutrition and from the published AAFCO and FEDIAF nutrient profiles. They describe what a rule produces for a healthy dog in a standard case. They are not veterinary advice, they do not account for a diagnosed condition, a medication, a pregnancy or a prescription diet, and they cannot replace a professional who can examine the animal. Where a figure here and your vet disagree, your vet has information this site does not; where a figure here and the label of your food disagree, the label is what the manufacturer stands behind.
Intellectual property
The texts, tables, feeding charts and calculators published on this site are original work. They may be quoted with a visible link to the page quoted, but not republished in full. The nutrient profiles and official publications referenced here are public documents, referenced rather than reproduced.
Hosting
The site is a set of static pages served by GitHub Pages(GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States). It runs no user accounts and no comment system, and the calculator runs entirely in the visitor's browser: nothing entered into it is sent to a server. The site sets no cookies; the only measurement, an anonymous stability check with cookie-free Microsoft Clarity, is described in the privacy policy.
