Important Infant Dosage Warnings
Motrin Infant Dosage Precautions
- Do NOT give Infants' Motrin to babies under 6 months without a doctor's direction.
- ALWAYS use the dosing syringe included in the package. Never use a kitchen spoon.
- Dose by weight, not by age. If weight falls between ranges, use the dose for the lower weight.
- Do not give more than 3 doses in 24 hours.
- Call your pediatrician if fever persists for more than 24 hours in an infant under 2 years.
- Watch for signs of allergic reaction: rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing.
- Shake the bottle well before each use.
